A car arrives through the main gate of the university for the annual Fourth of July Show on Monday, July 4, 2011.
Awards were given to the top 75 vehicles 1986 and older and the top 25 vehicles, 1987 and newer during the annual show sponsored by the Tri-County Car Club at Campbellsville University.
The club also celebrated 25 years with several special events.
Twelve participants went home with top honors in several categories.

There were also many motorcycles on display.

A proclamation recognizing the Tri-County Car Club for 25 years
of service to the community was presented by Campbellsville Mayor
Tony Young, second from left, and Taylor County Judge/Executive
Eddie Rogers, far right. Accepting the proclamation were, Mark
Cundiff, left, one of the founders of the club, and Stan McKinney,
holding the proclamation. McKinney is a charter member of the club
which was founded on June 8, 1986. He is the only charter member
who has been a member all 25 years and was presented a plaque
recognizing his service.
Most of the rain missed the show but a bit did fall around noon. Participants dried their cars off and the
show went on as scheduled.
